The movers have finally gotten back to us, and it will only take them 4 days to get everything down there. Initially we thought that it would take 5 or 6 allowing us to take our time driving down. Not any more!
Here is the new itinerary:
17: Movers here
20: Movers take off, we head out. Arrive in DC late.
21: Spend the day in DC visiting my Family.
22: Drive from DC to Chattanooga TN (halfway between DC and Sulphur) 604 miles.
23: Drive from Chattanooga to the new house! 687 miles.
24: Be at the house bright and early to let the Movers in!
It will be a couple of really long days. We are talking at least 12 hours in the car for the last 2 legs. But the kids are pretty good travelers when it comes to car trips. I think we will be pushing the limit when it comes to time spent traveling. So wish us luck! We are going to need it!
