Sunday we drove the 45 minutes down to the Gulf and spent a few hours at the beach. Its quite a bit different than The Cape or Maine beaches, but sand, sun and water are always fun no matter where you are. It was amazing that there were hardly any people there. You just pull up to the side of the road and park. That's about it! The kids played in the surf, hunted for beach treasures, made friends with the people near us who were fishing and crabbing. Moses was afraid of the waves. Katie Grace and Maxwell enjoyed the warm water and the small waves. Here are some pictures.

Your new home and family activities are awesome! The beach looks so great! I miss it! Am loving your family and kid updates! Aunt Barb
Looks like a great time! I'm wondering 1) Are those fish that the kids have in that mini-pond? and 2) Did they catch those?
1) Yes. Fish.
2) The people that were there next to us were catching them with nets and that little pond was their holding tank. A,J & M were "helping" them keep it nice and deep and full of water.
Good to know...I was envisioning some crazy "catch-with-our-bare-hands" technique :)
